It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Pauntley Church of England Primary School. Pauntley is a truly special and unique educational setting that has so much to offer to all of its pupils. It's small size, comprising of just two classes, allows for children to flourish in a caring and supportive atmosphere that reflects the family ethos and Christian values that all our staff feel are important to children's early development.
Pauntley is set amongst some of Gloucestershire's most stunning scenery. With panoramic views surrounding the school the children can not fail to be inspired. The staff are passionate about outdoor education and the site lends itself to exploring the outdoors at all levels with all ages. Our extensive forest school area, pupil allotment and wildlife area support teaching in a variety of curriculum areas and help to bring wonderment and excitement to our teaching.
The school has a strong Christian ethos and this is interwoven as a golden thread throughout the school's curriculum provision. The children learn through worship about core Christian values and then apply these to all aspects of their lives, both in and out of school.
Since taking on the role of Head teacher in Summer 2020 I have been lucky enough to be able to work alongside a group of experienced teachers and Governors. Together, we are shaping and implementing a plan to further develop the school and ensure that an education of the highest quality is provided to all of its pupils.
If you would like to see what Pauntley school has to offer please do not hesitate to book a visit by contacting the school office.
